Hello everyone, that's it ! It's over :'( I'm back in France.
So, what can i say ? That was 3 very very good months, we had a lot of pleasure to be there, to live like danish people and to study there.
We want to say "Thank you very much" to everybody of UCN, teachers or students, thank you for you welcome, your help and your kindness.
We all appreciate to be there, because everyone was friendly towards us. It was a good test to follow and try to learn lessons in english, Erwan and me had improved our english ! Thanks to our bulgarian roommate, to the others student with whom we've discussed during hours and of course some TV shows with english subtitles.
it's with a little bit of nostalgia that we left Aalborg, during the morning of the 4th of may.
We've taken the bus to the airport, there, we wait for our plane, we took off at noon and we land at amsterdam at 1.10pm. After we had our last meal in a Burger King and we took the plane which will bring us back to Nantes. We arrived at 4.30pm, ours families were there, waiting our return.
Now, we are in our home, enjoying our family and some rest.
And this is our last post on this blog, it is the end of our adventure together but don't worry, we will see you next year when we will be abroad for 5 months :)
We wish you the best, have fun, enjoy your life and
Good Bye :)

Klitmoller
Hey guys,
We are already at the end of our trip in Denmark. I'm living on Saturday early in the morning to go back in France. We'll have one week off before going back to school on the 13th so I prefer to write my message now because I think I'll get busy.
For my probably last message, I'll speak about our last day trip to the west coast of Aalborg. We went to Klitmoller which is 2 hours far from Aalborg by car. Maybe you can wonder why we went there ?
And the answer is that Klitmoller hosts every year a PWA world cup. I'm keen on windsurfing and I would like to see how this place looks like. It's a small fishing village, but it's usually windy and wavy. These both things have transformed Klitmoller into one of Europe's first windsurfing destinations.
The nickname of this area is "Cold Hawaii". We do understand why. lol
In addition, all this area is part of a National Park. So the landscape was really beautiful ! We were lucky because the weather were with us and we were able to play on the beach and put our feet in the water but it's still freezing. The temperature of the sea is 8° celsius actually.
Here are some photos :
I hope that you enjoyed all our articles and see you soon for more adventures !!

Denmark vs Russia
Hi,
We told you that a great event will happen on April and we were there. We are talking about the game between the Danish national team and the Russian national team in Ice Hockey. It was the first time we saw a Ice Hockey game in a stadium and not on the TV.
We went to the Gigantium by bus. We arrived at 7:10 pm to find our places (we were sitting in front of the middle line) and unfortunately, it was too late to attend to the warm up so we waited until 7:25pm. At this time, players entered on the ice: Danish players in front of us and Russian players on our left. Then, after greeting the public, each team stand up (forming a line) and both anthem were played: "Der er et yndigt land" which means "There is a lovely country" is the national danish anthem that the whole stadium sang. This protocole finished, the game started at 7:30 pm. Ice Hockey game is composed of 3 periods which each lasts 20 minutes. There is a 15 minutes break between two periods. So we stayed more than 2 hours in the gigantium but it wasn't a bad thing because the game was very awesome and the public was very proud of its team even if the final score wasn't good for Denmark because they lost 0-3. We can say that the result isn't a surprise because Russia is the first hockey team in the world according the IIHF ranking contrary to the Danemark which is the 12th team.
At the end of the game, there were a shop and an autographs session so Thibaut bought a cap and a player sign it and I (Erwan) waited to get all players autographs. It was nice for a first Ice Hockey game
We advise you to go to see a Ice Hockey game for real at least one time in your life.
Enjoy videos and pictures,
Keep an eye on our adventure,
A week end in Horsens
Hi everybody ! One week ago, erwan and me went to Horsens to see our friends.
We decided to take the train from Aalborg to Horsens, It is pretty expensive in Denmark to use the trains ! It cost us something like 70€ per person. It takes us a little bit more than 2 hours to reach our destination. We arrived friday 5th of april at 18 o'clock. We walk a little bit in the city to reach our friend's accommodations and after to do some sightseeing.
After we've gone to the shop to buy some stuff for the evening. And during the night we've gone in a nightclub to compare their nightclub with ours. The day after, after a good nigt, we've walked into the city to discover the shops and others places to see. After we take some time to say hi to the others esaip students. Unfortunately we had to come back to aalborg to work on our web presentation.
But you can check our friend's blog : "Horsens Erasmus".
It was a good week end, it is always good to see our friends, we hadn't seen them since the end of the 1st semester in France.
But we will see them soon, still less than 1 month to go, it will be fast, because we had some extra lessons and some exams to take.
We are sorry, we had to let you here and say you bye for today because tomorrow we will have our 1st oral exam ! So we have to work a lot to be ready.
Bye !

Norway Trip
Hello everybody,
At the beginning of March, with Benoit from SEP and one of my friend who came from France, we went for a road trip in Norway.
My friend came with his car which is more a van than a normal car. We spent 6 nights in Norway from Oslo to Stavanger which is on the west coast.
So firstly, we departed from Frederikshavn to Goteborg in Sweden but we didn't stay there and head straight to Oslo. We visit the capital city and also went skiing in Oslo Vinterpark. This station is just 20 minutes far from the downtown and it welcomed the world winter championship in 2008. It's not a huge station but you have a lot of things like : snowpark, half-pipe, ski jump, biathlon, etc..
Otherwise, we went to the biggest ski station in Norway which is 3 hours far away from Oslo. It's called Trysil. This one is huge and we can ski by night due to big lights over the slopes. It was incredible !!
After 3, 4 days in the capital we drove down the coast to Kristiansand first and to Stavanger. We saw so many awesome landscapes and lakes. We stopped for the sunset in a remote area and watched it in a big silence. WONDERFUL !!
The day before leaving, we walked to Preikestolen. It's a massive cliff 604 meters above the fjord. This visit was one of our trip's aim. This was also amazing. We walked aproximately 2 hours to reach the top between snow, ice and forest. It was a bit hard because we had not the gear to climb it so we were so happy to did it finally.
We took the ferry to arrived in Hals, DK and came back to Aalborg. The last ferry took 12 hours so we had booked a little room with 4 beds and a window to have the view on the sea.
Here are some pictures :
And this is a video we made about our trip. (Skip the beginning if you want, it's about a pre-trip in Amsterdam before going to Aalborg).

Copenhagen
Hey everybody,
Last weekend, I went to Copenhagen with others students and it was an awesome couple of days. Let me tell you a bit about this trip.
It was organised by I-Life which is a student's association. Some I-life guys came with us and had scheduled lots of activities during the weekend.
We started by taking the bus from Aalborg at 5 AM on friday morning. It was really early and difficult to wake up. But the excitement boosted me and I could sleep during the 6 hours before reaching the capital.
Once we were in the city, we went to our hostel to drop off ours luggages. This hostel (Generator Hostel) was really nice and situated just in the center of the town. I slept in a room with 8 bedrooms with others students from ESAIP.
We did so many things like a canal guided tour, a visit of the Christiansborg Palace which contains the Danish Parliament, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of State, a visit of Rosenborg Castle where we could see the Danish crown jewels and regalia.
We also visited Christiania, the freetown of Copenhagen which was amazing and interresting to understand how the creation of it happened.
We walked around the marple church, the Opera House, the little mermaid and reached the top of a tower which was so exciting because the tower was really high and I had a lot of adrenalin.
Here are some photos :
We came back to Aalborg on Sunday evening and I was so exhausted.

Hals and Egholm
Hi everyboy !
We are already at the middle of our stay in Aalborg and I keep visiting some beautiful places. After the extreme north of Denmark, I went to the East cost which is 30minutes from the city.
It's a wonderful place. The day we went, the sun was shining and there were no clouds in the sky. However, it was again and again freezing ! The wind was blowing quiet strongly and there was also snow on the beach. I was really happy to see waves breaking on the beach.
After this cold time, we went to the nearest village which is called 'Hals'. It was just 5min far away from where we were. We took some coffees in I think the only one pub/bar in the village and people there were amused to see some tourists (us) at this time of the year.
Here are some photos :
On friday, in the afternoon after school, I went with other guys from ESAIP to Egholm. It's an island in the middle of the fjord. We had to take a ferry for approximately 5minutes to reach the island.
We started to walk and maybe walk all around the island but we didn't expect that the island was so big. So we stoped and took a tea-time in front of the fjord and the sun. On the way back, we found a place where it was possible to make a fire. We grabbed a lot of wood and made a huge fire.
To conclude our day trip, we took the ferry back and could see a beautiful sunset just for us.
See you and stay tuned.

Aalborg's Zoo
Hi everybody !
Today, we want to talk about our visit in the Aalborg's zoo. This place is actually opened from 10:00 PM to 17:00 AM, so we went for the opening. We saw lots of animals but unfortunately, it was so cold and windy outside that most of animals were indoor. We paid 115 DKK thanks to our student card, without it, it's 150 DKK. Zoo offers some safari, guided visit, reservation for the whole zoo, birthday's party and mini car rent (if you don't want to walk during the visit). Others frenchs came with us to this cold but interesting visit.
All animals we saw are below, take a moment to look at pictures.
A Chimpanzee with is baby. A Lemur working on his tan.
A Reindeer A sleepy Brown Bear
Polar Bears.
A Lion. A Tiger.
A Meercat watching nearby.
Penguins, one was swimming and the others were walking and shouting outside !
A Crocodile. A Python.
A Turtle on her salad. An Iguana.
A Mustached Tamarin (little black Monkey with long white mustache) and
a Lion Tamarin (little orange Monkey).
A Seal in the water.
Benoît trying to touch a little Goat.
A Zebra. A Sabel Oryx.
A Kudu (it's an Antelope specy).
A Hippo.
An Elephant.
Giraffes with a baby (you can't see him because he's hidden in background).
A funny Orangutan looking at the other who is eatting.
The cutest animal in the zoo: the Red Panda.
Kangaroos. Goats in their nursery.
A Camel (very far away from his home country).
Poneys.
A Llama.
During the visit, a new specy has been discovered and Aalborg's zoo is the unique zoo in the world which exhibits this rare and precious life form: Frenchs IT Engineers (kind of human...) !!!
French IT Engineers playing (or working we don't really know) in their enclosure !
Thank you for staying faithful, our adventures are not finished, stay connected...
Benoît and Erwan
